Having fitted the 18's recently, in most angles she still appears fine, but coming out of Sainsburys today there was definate gapage between rubber and arch.
So just "feeling the waters" really.
I would only want to lower by no more than 30-35mm.
Is there a list of suspension/spring manufacturers, how much they lower by, and a rough idea of price?
If not anyones opinions on experience of their own lowering of the Coupe by the above amount would be most appreciated, and of course a rough idea of costs involved - would probably fit myself.
I appreciate if it's lowered comfort will suffer. Although I'd really like to use a system which minimised this negative effect on lowering.
Thanks in advance for the advice.

So Eibach is the preferred choice?
What are my other options - I've heard good comments regarding comfort/handling of coilovers?
Once again, advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yes Eibach are the preferred choice to lower your car to 30mm, however if you are going down that route then you want to change the shocks also. Otherwise you will get a very bumpy trashy ride.
I have had Eibachs fitted for a while on standard dampers and the ride is harsh and horrible. Potholes are earth shattering.
Shocks are expensive and the best, Bilsteins, are very expensive.
So just read around before taking the plunge.

Indeed.
That said, I've actually got Eibachs waiting to go on now. From Steve at AA, he advice was to see how they felt after fitting, and if it is really not my style to then go for better shocks all round. He did say a lot of his customers have had just Eibachs springs alone, and think the ride is fine.
The other thing for me is that I come from a background of very hard riding cars, (Uno T lowered 80mm, Punto GT lowered 60mm, etc). So as long as the ride stays somewhere near comfortable, then I'm happy. To be honest the ride on standard springs is to soft, at least for my preference. So I'm hoping I'll prefer the stiffer ride with the Eibachs.

You wont be disappointed with Eibachs If you can test drive a coop with them on, then you will be in the best position to decide.
