what a nice section! bit late, but M1 xmas eve going north, followed an LE 20vt with a huge great exhaust - very loud too - conditions to nasty to play (plus GF in other seat), but followed for a bit. Think it turned off at another motorway? probably near Leeds or something?

That was me, very kind of you to describe it as an ink black, I think brown or grey would have been closer at the time. Yeah I was doing about 95 leptons and you went by at a rate of knots with that new Golf in tow - didn't get chance to wave!

at last a spot. good to see you. If i was going abit slower you would have seen the steel grey / roadsalt colour mine was too. I was messing with the golf for miles it was great fun he was topping out at about 130 so i would speed up then slow down i think i was driving him nuts.
By the way the reason we were going that quick was the police had just pulled someone infront of me about a mile before you came on so using the law of low budget policing the chance of two motorway patrols being ont he same side of the carrigeway on a Saturday was very low so i gave it full beans.
good to get a reply at last though

Same here, none of the coops I spot seem to be on the forum. I might have been tempted to join in the convoy except Mrs Damo would have limited me to about 100.
I'd just like to add that I restored it to its proper colour on Sunday after a good wash
