Im having my calipers done in red while I have my wheels refurbed so need some brembo caliper decals.

What colour looks best on red calipers? Im thinking Black, white or chrome? Has anybody got any pics of red calipers with decls any of the above colours? Or any other colours?

Also where do I get the decals from? Thanks

Dan

Dan, PM Kingpleb, I think that's where most people get them from.

Per, there are loads of people on here who have the decals from Kingpleb, so if there was an issue I guess it would have come to light by now

Dan, check out some pictures of my refurbished calipers on this thread. (Red with black decals).

I got my decals from kingpleb, they are very good quality, and should last fine with a coat of lacquer over the top of them.

Per, what you say is possible.

The only time i have seen such a thing happen is when the stickers have just been put on without any lacquer over them. i personally advice to use USautomotives VHT or Flameproof range

Is it ok to lacquer over the existing lacquer when you apply the decals?

If I had red calipers, I would go for white decals. I've no pics, but have seen this combo on a (Ink Black?) Ferrari Scagiwotsit and they look

I would love some chrome decals. Think they would look on red or black

No, I used this one...

clear VHT paint (product code:VHT-SP730).

I looked at the one you have shown, but it said in the description that it was a matt finish, so I avoided it.

The one I used seems fine & gave a very glossy finish. You should get about 2~3 coats on 4 calipers out of one can.

Per and alx. Are you planning to buy the VHT clear laquer? Will this solve the "fried on a trackday" problem ?

It looks like US Automotive ship to UK only.
Maybe this company in Stockholm has the same kind of product?
