Any boost gauge other than a TIM one - spend about 50 quid and just keep looking on ebay until you find one you like. Blitz and autometer are good IMO>
You can't replace the EBV with another EBV. A lot of people run Electronic controllers (pricey) or a PRV - for a PRV PM Cosmograph.

I changed from a durite to a caerbont, about £40 because it gives a nice smooth reading and doesnt flicker about, feels more solid too. Side / passenger view

If you like it then cool - but I had the same one for about 10 mins before removing it - it rattled, the backlight looked tacky and cheap, and there are no proper increments for you to tell what boost you'r getting, oh - and the response of the needle seemed laboured as well.

There is an autometer one available which matches up with the standard dials quite nicely. autometer gaugesEdit: Assuming here that you have the black dials.

I think the autometer ones only come in psi flavour. Different car forums seem to have a preference for either psi or bar, on here it seems to be bar so it might be advantageous to go this route.
I am happy with mine, looks good and is reasonably accurate compared to my avc-r.

I have to say, despite the many criticisms aimed at the TIM brand, mine was fine for the two years I owned it. was that in your saxo?

The Swoosh gauge looks good too, has anyone used that or the Autogauge boost gauge? I have a autogauge one fitted currently, seems to be quite good but ive managed to get my hands on a white faced autometer one to match my dials

You could kill two birds with the one stone and install an EBC that displays boost! I'm going for a GReddy in the air-vent position see here

Fine looking install there davidub! Rachtech boost gauge like mine too. That particular install courtesy of Allystew! However, I'll have a similar one by this time next week

Cheers for the plug David . Darren like I said in PM I have Racetech. Used in rally cars as its excellant quality and reads to 2.5 bar, so is in FCCUK friendly bar reading. Also matches standard gauges perfectly.

BTW, what do ppl think about the Mocal Aeroquip that Demon tweeks offer? They are not as expensive as all things DT offer (only 28.49) and I'm worried it's crap! Looks rather stock and simple, I like it a lot. 'ere cheers

I've switched from an autogauge (wich I couldn't read at daylight) to a Mocal (wich is much better in that respect). The thing is that it allways reads some vacuum even if I'm at idle. It does seem to read accurately at 1.2.
Is this normal??
