Does anyone know of a decent rolling road in the Kent / Sussex area? Want to check out fuelling etc after I buy and install a GTECH 1 chip and am wondering about the prices of such a check-up.

Cheers
Stu

Come along to the RR day at Surrey Rolling Road next Saturday 14th.
J11 M25 not too far (I'm coming up from Eastbourne).
2 runs for £45. They have a good name from what I remember off the old forum.
(Full details in RR section)

Don't think there are any in Sussex/Kent.

Thanks for the invite yellafella, but a it's bit early for me. That's a good price though, is that heavily discounted?

I want to get to one once I've installed GTECH and couple of other bits just to make sure all is tip-top. Will prob end up going there when that's done then (prob not for a couple of months yet due to bank balance <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> )

Where are you in Eastbourne then? My girlfriend's from that way, Willingdon, I'm there every other weekend or so

No worries. Think that's their normal price. Recently installed my Gtech-1 and just love it. That's why I'm going, to check she's fuelling OK.

Yep Willingdon too, well Ratton. My local's the Wheatsheaf. You'll know the Polegate bypass then? Honestly, after fitting the chip I just couldn't get myself off that lovely new dual carriageway. I must have been going up and down that road for about an hour! (Before filling up with Tesco 99Ron)

Late Reg Ink Black? Sure I've seen one around here...

Yep, that's one nice dual carriage way, get a few undercover cops round there though so I never go too mad. My mate got nicked on his bike 'racing' an undercover beemer! Caught him doing 'only' 90 luckily so wasnt too bad off, considering he had gone well over this

R reg, although I have seen an Ink Black in eastbourne town a couple of months back, S reg if I remember.

I dont know Ratton, that's in town isn't it? I'm always trying to be empty when I get to E'bourne for that Tesco! The 99 is cheaper than what normal unleaded is here in TW, it's ridiculous! Will keep my eyes out for ya

Yeah S reg that was the one I saw. I'll keep an eye out for an R reg now!

Ratton's right next to Willingdon. Ratton School. My coop's normally locked away in the winter, apart from special days like going to RR days! If some nutter in an old Range Rover flashes you that'll be me.
