Imagine you were given £20k and a 0 Mile 20vt Plus as a starting point. What would you do? You have to spend it all. Just wondering

Put the £20k in a bank account and use it for servicing, petrol, insurance etc for the next few years

Place large bets on the next 6 years sporting fixtures etc as you must be looking at a preregistered Plus in the year 2000.

The with your winnings you could buy all the tooling from Fiat and build your own new 2012 registered coupe.
I wonder if Fiat have/are gonna sell all the old tooling off to somewhere like South Africa like they did with the Uno (including the turbo)???

I'd gladly pay a local specialist £20k to mod a Coupe to give me: 1. A solid-red paint-job that doesn't fade. 2. An engine that doesn't consume ANY oil. 3. An exhaust manifold that NEVER cracks. 4. A cam-belt that lasts for 1,000,000 miles. 5. A similar clutch. 6. Rear radius arms with bullet-proof bushes. 7. Non-denting doors/rear quarters (bloomin' car parks ) 8. ZERO torque-steer. 9. About 400 reliable bhp. 10. Seats that make a vague attempt at holding me in place. 11. Space in the dash for a motorised screen. 12. A dry shirt when I get in it in the rain. Then I'd be in heaven

I'd have it turned into a mid mounted 2 seater with 4 wheel drive.

Ok, well i'll play the game properly unlike all the fools above.
I'd have the whole thing resprayed in the blue/purple flip paint TVRs can come in. That includes the engine bay, the lot. I'd have a cadumoro (sp?) rear bumper with quad exhausts and a 360 front bumper with black mesh. I'd have some multi-spoke 18 inch wheels in a bright silver (but not chrome). I'd have the windows blacked out. I'd have the seats redone with Purple stiching to match the new color. In the engine bay i'd have all the hoses in purple. I'd have the engine sprayed in the same flip paint as the car and the 20VT letters done in black. Also make sure the horns are done in the flip paint. Oh also get the car lowered by about 35mm.
After that i'd give the remaining money to Barbz and ask him to get as much reliable power as he can out of it, probably in the region of 350-400bhp would be fine.
