I seem to remember reading that the coop requires a smaller jet, I'm running a 0.5mm jet which works fine. Now as for mounting the jet, I've got it as close to the intercooler exit as I could get like the instructions state but I think a few coopsters have theirs closer to the throttle body.

Genic,
Depends on your set up, if your using it just for cooling then a small jet, 0.4/0.5 if your going to get it mapped you may need to go bogger, went up to 1.0mm on mine in the end. Also depends what water/methanol mix you are going to use, the more methanol the bigger jet is needed to get the water in.
I had mine in the plastic bit near the dump valve, I wasnt happy with the thread on the plastic though so used a wide jubilee clip and threaded that, seemed to make the jet seating alot more scure and meant it sat flush on the inside.

P.S. I do not work for Richard Lamb selling Aquamist stuff Fair enough if it will detect flow changes as you would also get a flow change if your nozzle blows out (like mine did) as it is dealing with a different pressure differential. I still would only use it for cooling personally though given the unreliability of every important bit of the kit I've had (I'm on my 2nd loom, 3rd solenoid, 2nd pump if I remember correctly). But I have run it for a lot longer/no of miles than most people (75k miles approx) John

I spoke to Claudio on Friday and now i'm confused.
He says that a unichip map with aquamist isn't a dual map as such. All that happens is the timing advance is simply taken out when there is no water/methanol present.
He also seemed to think that this switching can be done without a DDS unit!?
Hence my confusion.

Hence my confusion. You can have two different ignition maps with the current (old) Unichip, you have a 'base' map and another map, and basically you can switch between the two. Anything can switch the map, its just a feed to the Unichip, so you could manually switch it if you so wished, but the DDS2/3 are a fully automatic and safe way of doing this, as no water=no switch. But you could have two maps one for pump fuel and one for race fuel if you so wish and then you just switch it yourself. Joe

Thanks Joe - So as I understand it, he won't map the car twice, it'll just have one map with the aquamist running and then when they're happy with that they'll just set the 'base map' to be that of the new map but using no advanced ignition.
I wish the water injection forum comes back!

Yep, they will just map to the water injection, and then have a base 'retarded' map for without water injection. A safe map.
I run most of the time at 085-0.95 bar boost so I don't use any water/methanol,.. but I know that it is very safe in terms of ignition advance and will go like this all day long,..its still plenty fast enough to dispatch most things on the road anyway!

ok wiring in the aquamist now so its the start of alot of questions going off this wiring diagram. 1st question , Is that when the purple wire is energised the pump runs? so does that mean that the pressure switch 806-162 and the high speed solenoid 806-244 control the water going in , otherwise the pump would just let the water in contiounsly, if that makes sense 2nd question where is the best place to take the input from the fuel injectors?? any one thanks G.
