I'm currently running at 275+ bhp and was wondering what else I would need to get a reliable 300 bhp car.

Any indication of cost would be helpfull too.

Cheers
Mark

urm.... ditch your v-band adaptor and get a 5-bolt 3" downpipe. Cost = 260+vat+delivery from H&S. What boost are you running?

Depends what I set the boost controller to!

I dont know what boost the car was running when it was rr'ed as I didn't own it then - I just have the print outs.

But atm she runs at 1.0 bar or 1.4 bar depending on which button I press <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />

I agree with davidub - exhaust should do it. Downpipe and decat - make sure you lose the V-Band adapter, as its the biggest restriction in the entire system.

Your spec is very similar to mine when I was running 300bhp

its the flange that bolts to the 28r which allows the OE downpipe to bolt to it, you need to replace the flange so a 3" downpipe can be fitted

ah ok thanks.

Found some more info on the RR. It appears the car was running 1.3 bar to 275 bhp but that doesn't include the straight induction and Apexi

The other option to H&S for the DP is a full BlueFlame system. I think there's a Group Buy being organised for a 3" turbo back system ... take a look in Group Buys!
