No, I had the same when I got my coupe. It's a restrictive, non-standard exhaust that isn't up to the job, the gasses are trying to force their way out any way they can, that's what makes the noise.
Mine was a kwik-fit one and was thinner than a pea shooter! when I took it off, the noise went. which is a shame as it used to frighten small children and the elderly

Tom had a 3" full system IIRC.

That was filmed shortly after Tommy got his LE, when it still had the peashooter Kwiksh@t job fitted - as Pinin suspected. He eventually got the system junked and had a 3 inch downpipe into 2.5 inch from longlife chucked on. The revving at the start of the vid is Tom's car immediately after he had that fitted. He then had a race cat stuck in and lost some of the popping and banging

I remmeber when he had NO exhaust, that was VERY loud

I've owned the "Jet fighter" for 20 months now. It has a 3" downpipe, Ram air, GT28R, DV26, and a 2.5" longlife exhaust (Amongst other things)

Can't say i have managed to recreate the "jet fighter" sound but it does sound fruity!!

Still nice to see it makes people smile!

Not that good IMO sorry.

I have some awesome DVD's I've made in the past, coupes ripping past on full chat etc.

One is good, the camera is sat under the car, and the the car does a full launch, did this with Rog's Clio V6 also.

Not complaining but why you not like that exhaust. cause i have mixed reactions to it.

No mate, I just meant the video isnt that good as you dont get the full force of the noise as such, i.e from a drive-by.

I love the way coupes sound with a good system
