how on earth can the lips and skirts particuly the LE ones be fitted when painted?????
There not a great fit, but can be made superb but require drilling. I wouldnt dare attempt to fit the copy parts pre-painted.
P.s it may be best if you find a paintshop who are on waterbase as come january 2k base will be a no no.

But your painting is of an excellent quality and cheaper Thanks a lot mate.. absolutely AutoDS offer is current. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> how on earth can the lips and skirts particuly the LE ones be fitted when painted????? I fit up skirts after painting, lips before ..but AutoDS lips fit very well.. and a lot of people fit up lips after painting, but I think fitting before painting is safer. There not a great fit, but can be made superb but require drilling. Require drilling ?? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />

yeh the lips are soo the wrong shape they have to be screwed to get a nice fit.
otherwise there miles away. same with the skirts, they dont pull tight and line up if there not screwed while the p/u sets.

ive tried and fitted them. Im not having a go, there not bad at all and stupidly cheap, but painting them first is a bad idea, you carnt get the fit right afterwards. Correct me if im wrong. But the lips & skirts fit far better if held with screws or apeture clamps while the p/u takes a hold. Infact ill order a full LE kit, if it fits without any screws or trimming as well as the kits i fit and screw ill order all my kits from you. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

ok gimme a price on two sets of LE lips and one pair of skirts. Unpainted and delivered to not so sunny wolverhampton. if they go on perfectly without screws etc then ill buy every kit i use. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Ill do a good how to guide while im at it! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
