Do Fiat Coupes have those little sticky-up mat holding things that you put through the little holes in the mats?...

'Cos mine doesn't. Bloody mats slide all over the shop.

The Fiat accessory mats came with a pair of little plastic screws that screwed into the original carpet to hold the mats in place.

Carl beat me to it...

I take it the Fiat mats are long since discontinued.

I mean in the carpets on the floors, not the mats, i've got some standard mats witha grey leather triangle with 'COUPE' embossed into them, but they justr slide all over the place 'cos nothing is holding them...

Didn't I say that in my post?

I need some for the mats in my current coupe but originally there were two small plastic screws with a rectangular top that was pushed through the holes in the mats and twisted 90 degrees.

So does it mean I have an aftermarket carpet?

Thought my interior was pretty much unmolested...

No, your mats have the slots in them do they not?

It's just that the prvious owner did not bother to screw in the hold the mat down thingies. Mines like that and I've just this minute thought that the mats complete with hold down thingies are available for the current range of Fiats, I wonder if you can order just the hold down thingies from Fiat

If you can then I'd be interested to know - mine are missing the holding things and are a bit flappy...

Good idea that, does anyone know how much / part code / availability on these things?

Also, are they different colours in different coloured interiors?

I think you can get the oval twisty clips from VW seperate, think they just screw into the carpet, maybe worth a look if Fiat don't sell them
