I wish there was i motorsport series for Coupes.

I know that coops have been raced in the past but obviously nothing now.

Seat Leon's have the Cupra Cup, Clios have the Clio cup, why cant we have the Coupe Cup?

With such a huge following on this forum and others i think it would be great.

Would it interest anyone else?

Racing is very expensive, track time, insruance, costume (fishy dave style outfit), fuel, tyres, brakes etc.
Also IMO the coupe isnt a 'fun' car to race round track.

Can you imagine all the DNF's - be like the first Le Mans where only 2 cars made it to the finish

There were a few coupes campaigned in the Italian rally championship in the mid 90's - I built a few models of some a few years back for clients, but I can't remember the color schemes. I don't think they were works-supported cars, but not entirely sure....
