yip oversize rings i believe Iceberg said. i gave him permisson if he wanted to just get forged bits and bugger it ill take the expense really as logn as it comes back with an MOT lol as that was out last week i think and it will need taxing which i cant do without MOT

Rab lokos like you are going to have a motor in brand new guise near enough so when you get home change the oil to mineral for a few hundred miles, then change to semi synth for couple of 1000 then onto fully synth to fully bed the engine in

My plan was slick 50!!!

New engine drool drool!

Thanks for the advice KP, I think that "if it ever comes back" should be added to that!

Dont think that is necessary to be honest dude. mineral oil for first 500 miles (no boost) up to 3000rpm. Then semi from 500-1000 up to 4500rpm. Then fully from 1000rpm onwards gradually increasing rpm then getting the fueling checked. Then get the boost increased and on your way.

Ross

Yeah she is sorn at the minute but she is insured and can be driven on the road only for work to be done on the car or to get to MOT station and back(should she fail) and thats it as long as i pre book the car in of course but im hoping iceberg can MOT her for me if he gets enough time and then i can tax her on the spot using the cert number from the MOT cert
