Recently ordered an engine as a spare. Was advertised at £495 as a "bare" engine "no ancillaries" was the exact wording. Got home from work the other day to its arrival to find a shrink wrapped engine sitting on a pallet on my driveway. Carefully unwrapped it to find an engine with a good turbo(looks fairly new no play in shaft), exhaust manifold (this looks a few months old at most), all coilpacks, inlet manifold/plenum, throttle body, intake pipeing, seperator, water pump, thermostat and a full loom out of the car still attached.

Now for £495 I'd say that was a bargain and will have my eyes peeled for coops with a blown engine going cheap!!Maybe even a Bravo as a project!!

It appeared on ebay. Was there for about 2 hours and I decided what the hell. Came from a breakers in Lancashire.

Turned it manually and all cylinders compress as normal and equal!!
