My lovely pearly white coupe has had a small a altercation with the rear of a Ford Fiesta yesterday .This has scrapped the front nearside bumper (also has a small crack below light) and bent in the corner of the bonnet and out popped the side of the bonnet. (pictures when I can get them uploaded!)

My insurers are offering me to use their approved 'local' bodyshop which is 'Stonacre' in Pandy near Wrexham any good or bad comments? (large Fiat/Renault/Nissan dealership same site)
Also with the paint being a 3/4 stage pearlescent would anyone recommend a body/paint shop in the NorthWest (I'm Chester based) whom they would trust to get a good/matching finish?

Cheers for the help folks I'm just starting to calm down about it now - was too distraught to post last night!

If the bumper's scrapped, then you might get a replacement from Carlt, otherwise I imagine it will be a long wait for a replacement from Fiat?

Why the long wait for a replacement front bumper from Fiat?

Same as bonnets, they havent got many. If any.

I got all the bits, but if you going down a lazy dealer route repair there not going to use second hand bits.

Wish the dealer good luck with the colour match, its going to be fun.

Ah so it was your purple coupe I was admiring at Lidl a few weeks ago. I wondered who it belonged to! Reminded me (at the time) that the peeling laquer on my petrol cap really does need some attention.

The place im thinking of is on liecester street near the main island with ATS or kwikfit and also has rac autowindscreens near them as well. hidden away round the back but very good from what ive seen but not cheap either.

Peraly white? Bloody hell. It's gorgeous.

Another un-attainable colour for me.

Cappo ........... I think he meant his bumber waas scraped not scrapped

I recommended Triangle garage for body work having seen some local chavs Nova. I must admit his paintwork is excellent but I've not got round to having mine done yet (you get used to it after a while)

I think you must have been very lucky. Carlt tells me that the company that made them in Holland has stopped manufacturing them so the only new bonnets are dealer returns hence the wait!

I did indeed mean scraped and not scrapped (as yet!) must have been a little excessive with the 'p'

Hoping to get parts from Carlt and letting the insurers approved bodyshop do the work ( insurance want to make it an even bigger hassle if I don't)
And unlikely to sell the car unless my circumstances change catastrophically. The colour is just so

strike4A -thanks tried Desira but they only have one damaged bonnet in stock currently.
They suggested getting my bodyshop to raise a VOR on the new bonnet to increase the chances of getting it quickly. They have got one recently that took 4 weeks to arrive.
