You want flames from the exhaust? Ok. Drill a hole in the tailpipe. Connect a metal tube to this hole and run it to an extra tank of 50/50 petrol and diesel in the boot. Make sure you have a non return valve/ flame trap in the pipe and an electic on/off valve with a switch. Proceed happily along the highway with flames out the arse end until busted by Mr. Plod for unauthorised fitting of an afterburner...

depends on what type of exhaust you have - with a decat you could see flames on hard deceleration when the tailpipe is hot.

it depends on how much extra fuel your runnin, aswell as the heat of the exhaust. if yor car is runnin properly, then it wont happen. mines used to do it on gear change. before it blew up! ross

you could try tapeing a bogroll to the tail pipe and setting it alight before you set off...........

Try just hitting the limiter in either 1st or 2nd before changing gear - if you get a loud pop it's probably spitting a bit.

A subscription to Max Power might be the solution.

Lol.
Give the guy a break. Seeing flames come out the rear of your car (apart from when you've destroyed your turbo) is pretty cool in a "I am man and i like fire" kinda way!
I have found the coupe to not have long flames but to be more fireballs.

No no no! or ok if you must follow the Chav's...might be cheaper to get a gallon of petrol and matches if you really want to burn your Coupe...but why?? IMHO this mod runs along the same lines as underbody neons and hydraulic jacks to lower the car for the 'sparky effect' running its bum down the road.
Look good on a Burberry Micra but on a Coupe..no please!
