Is Tibshelf the one near Junction 25? Or is it Trowell? Whichever of the 2 is the furthest south we could meet there.

Just tarting up the route and confirming somewhere for a photo op....

Thanks to Crash we have the route down - i will try to post it up asap....

The starting point is the Saxon Mill CV34 5YN - meeting at 12 noon....

If traveling from the North - and you need to meet on the trip in - i suggest Leicster Forest East Service - - then straight onto the M69 to the end and your about 6 miles from where you need to be....

Meet details –

Starting Point – Meet at “The Saxon Mill” (CV34 5YN) (www.saxonmill.co.uk)

• For a few pics – Paint stroking – Beer and Snacks if you want.
• I will bring copies of the Route Map and it’s all straight forward.
• The day will probably go from 12noon – 3 or 4 o’clock - although you're all big and ugly enough to know when its time to go home!

• The drive is circa 45 miles and timed at just over an hour without stops,

This is on the route and offers a cracking photo opportunity “Chesterton Windmill”
Here
http://www.windmillworld.com/uk/chesterton.htm
And Here
http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/fac/sci/moac/currentstudents/peter_cock/photos/chesterton_windmill/

Finishing up at “The Waterman Pub” (CV35 7LD) (www.thewatermanpub.co.uk)

Start point CV34 5YN Saxon Mill (CV34 5YN) (www.saxonmill.co.uk)

Leave and merge onto A46

Leave at 2nd junction – at roundabout take 4th exit onto A45

Next roundabout take the 2nd exit A423

Then hit the FOSSE ! B4455 – and follow the coupes!

The windmill is visible from the Fosse – and weather permitting – and if we can be bothered – we can stop of for some great pics…

At Halford (Town) we will head back on the A429

Arriving at the A46 – for a 2.5 mile blast up a nice DC

Then take exit for A4177 Birmingham Road toward Solihull – for 1.6 miles and hey presto – A Pub!
“The Waterman Pub” (CV35 7LD) (www.thewatermanpub.co.uk)

As I said I will take copies of the route to hand out – but I’m sure you’ll be able to figure it all out

FROM HERE IT’S HOME TIME !

Any problems let me know

Nice route CJ

When you get on the A45 at Cov, after a mile or so there's a speed camera (60mph zone)

Have a great day people

Looks great, nice one cj. Unfortunatley though, i won't be there- too many family hassles going on at the moment. Shame, as it would be great to meet some coopsters other than cj, crash & carl.

Does anyone fancy meeting at Trowel Sevices on the M1 south, leaving at 10:45 then? Should take 54 mins (56.2 miles) according to multimap!

Looks like we should get lucky with the weather too!

Friday - Light Rain
Saturday - Sun
Sunday - Heavy Rain!!!

How about Leicester Forest East services at 11am? It's the furthest south before the M69 so gives as many people as possible the chance to go in convoy?
