has sanyone in london or the south east found a good supplier for methanol?

im looking for a near-ish supplier to collect from, the nearest ive found so far in east sussex, so looking to find it nearer.

perhaps people using it can list where they get it?

Rog, I sent you an email with the details of a company that supplies this in bulk, but they are up in Manchester.

If you need small quantities, you could try local model shops, as radio controlled models often run on methanol.

Rog if you go to arena Essex (the speedway track your side of the tunnel) I get mine for £5.50 for 5L (ok it was last year I last got some).

If you go to your local speedway track they will sell methanol as that is what they run the bikes on, plus it is a high grade of methanol and not the cheap poo they put in air lines to stop the moisture freezing(trust me I use to race and it's bloody good stuff) <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Rog, as we chatted onthe phone, depite the latest changes in carrier regulations, I can still get it , 4 gallons at a time £7 gallon from "mainly models" a model shop in Hitchin, Herts.
