I'm very interested in coming to this and would prefer a Sunday in January, but is 25 cars not a bit optimistic?

Latest RR day i went to it took 20 minutes each car on average maybe more, thats not including fuelling!

Say 30 minutes each car on average, times that by 25, works out over 12 hours!

I'll come along, it'll take a couple of hours to get there but well worth it for that discount!! Don't mind if it's Sat or Sun or Dec or Jan, only time I can't do it is Sunday 14th Jan.

That's a huge discount, will the price go up much if you don't get 25 cars?!

Elder is right however I think 20 minutes could easily be racked up with unloading and loading the next car - The run itself and fuelling check will be 5 mins max.

that's the point i was making, it's not the actual runs that take the time. it's organising everybody to get their cars ready and getting the cars on and off the rollers!

I hadn't checked this thread for a while

List so far is:

DennisK
Suba
Elder81
Yellafella
Truffle
Sean_C
DrFrag
Strike4A
Meado
TheBeast
Sugerbear
Ben20vt
PaulR20vt
Paul_20vt
Longusta
Eldinho
Mark_K

Plus me = 17

We need a few more (20+ preferably)

I'm going to make a decision and say that its going to be a Saturday in January. It lets everyone get over the Xmas spend and gives something to look forward to in the New Year.

Subject to confirmation with Perfect Touch, I'm going to go for 13th or 20th.

Remember, PT will require deposits from everyone - this is not like some other dyno days where you can just turn up. Also, its not like other days where you can SAY you're going to turn up and then not bother 'cos you got bladdered the night before

A lot of work goes into organising this, and the price is dependent on a certain number of people attending. If a few drop out, the price WILL go up for the ones that bothered to attend, and I don't suppose they will be too happy.

Any more takers?

Oh, go on then, put me down on the list, as it would be good to come along and get a benchmark against so many other Coupes on the same rolling road/day !. Also be some peace of mind that everything is working well before the track day season starts next year .

Well - that's 19 cars, but experience tells me that we need a handful more, as there's always a few last minute cancellations.

I'll be at PT in the next week or so for another remap so I'll get a firm handle on the dates when I go

Ah, count me out then I'm afraid. It would mean a 460mile round trip for me.

Sorry. I thought you had spotted my previous post, as above.

In the light of Nigel's Unichip being found to be wired incorrectly, as identified by PT, perhaps they could have a quick look at the wiring of those others of us who had a Unichip installed by PTS *just in case* for an extra few quid, around the power runs?

OK - the date for this is being put back a bit, due to the FCCUK Xmas/New year bash and PT's diary being a bit busy

Now looking at either 27 or 28 January

Does this affect any of the list?
