I had one on mine. No performance gains as far as i could tell but it sounded nice. It's certainly louder than the standard unit. It also comes with a 3" pipe out the back so looks the part too.

I've got one on mine, with the slash cut tail pipe, if you fancy a gander Joel (cat in place still)? Not sure I'll be in TW for a while but welcome to come down for a look if you want to see one, unless you can wait for the meet

I think it's great value for money, despite having to polish it very regularly because it turns gold fairly quickly. It's not quiet, but nice and subtle. With the decat it's LOUD but sounds awesome. A decat may give a few extra hp and seems to help turbo spoolup a bit.

Looks and sounds good. Not decatted but louder and better made than a Supersprint. You need autosol and elbow grease to keep the exit looking good though .

No probs mate, I'm around at the weekend. Happy to meet halfway if it's easier, say Heathfield somewhere?

PM me I guess, to keep the thread on track!

thanks for the info, i'm in 2 minds whether to go for a powerflow again (i had 1 on my 20v non turbo) it gave good gains, well made + lifetime gaurantee.

i would like this 1 quieter though.

i dont know that much about the powerfiat exhaust, i'm sure it's well made but i'm not sure about power gains or gaurantee, i'm sure the 2 box system would be quiet enough

Joel, as far as power in concerned they do also do a cheap (£60 IIRC) decat come hybrid/GT time (obv. louder)

If you're eventually going for over say 310bhp thru' a GT you'll want 3" turbo-back instead - I think the PF one is 2.25"

I find it does the job very nicely with std tubby + FMIC + SIP + Unichip and still with the cat in (270/270). It sounds just right and it'll still be fine one day with a hybrid & decat where I would expect to be knocking on the door of 300/300

Hasn't Adder58 got one of these?

His car sounded amazing and it still has the cat in place

I've probably posted this vid a million times now, but this video shows how mine sounded with decat.

An exhaust replacement from the cat back alone will never really give any extra power. Removing the cat will free some horses, but still won't be extremly noticable. For bigger bhp gains you need a full exhaust (with downpipe).

i had a catback powerflow exhaust on my 20v non turbo which gave good gains for an NA, i thought i would get better gains on a 20vt?

I have a PowerFiat exhaust. Really chuffed with it. Sounds awsome. Nice burble on tick over, and doesn't boom on the motorway. Just right.

If I had to do it again, I'd do it exactly the same.

Just seen this, yeah I have one - cat back system, with two boxes.
I went out in Martin's (adder58's) plus, but I thought it was a touch too loud, so I got it with two boxes, tbh it's great I can't fault it one bit

- I also have the last slash cut exit one, as they stopped doing them after mine

In terms of power gains, my car (which is standard) was rolling roaded @ 233bhp (obviously at the fly) I never had it rr'd with the standard exhaust on though How accurate the figure is i'm not too sure, but it's better than standard.

The exhaust also has a 10yr guarantee

What system was that? Looks like a Powerflow, sounds so much nicer than my Blueflame with de-cat.

Is it a one or two box system?

That's a powerfiat (pipecraft) exhaust with decat and 1 box. Now with the cat back on it's quite subtle, but far easier to live with everyday
