Rick/Jim, your wheels look so tempting!

The inside lip on one of my wheels is lightly bent - I've been advised it can be repaired, but I think this might be a good excuse for a a new set

They're on at last, had to get a slightly larger spacer to fit the front wheels, you can just about squeeze a rizler paper between the calipers and wheel spokes but it doesnt foul the caliper at all.

Not a brilliant picture as light was fading fast, I'll try and get more tomorrow.

Clicky Wheels

I quite like them

They look better than I thought they would Jimbo, but still prefer the standard LE ones !

Lou, not noticed anything with handling yet but I've been taking it easy in the wet with new tyres.

Ride, yes its a little firmer and you feel pot holes more but your always going to with 35 profile tyres.

The wheels will be coming off soon Matty dont worry but only so that I can get them sprayed the propper LE titanium colour

I'll get some better pics tomorrow in the light.

hmm.........nice Jimbo, I think they will grow on me.

Personally, they need to be lightened up ( the centres )

but I like the polished rims, JUST NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER, FCUKKING EVER EVER kerb them, or you'll probably blow up !

I've kerbed my Azevs so many times & refurbed them, then I scuff them again & I feel like destroying the universe !

....about time you got rid of them lego wheels

Thanks Taz

Yep, the centres are going to get lightened up to the standard LE colour, its a sort of gunmetal/blue at the moment and just slightly too dark for me although in day light they will probably brighten up.
They are very well finished wheels, its almost a shame to spray them but Im a fussy bugger when it comes to having things just the way I like it

I'm going out tonight with my bucket and spade to remove all the kerbs in the area so I should be ok

At least you can refurb them. My alloys cannot be refurbed so I have to be super ultra careful. It's because the shiny bit on my wheels is a steel layer held in place between the split rim parts. The only marks on them are made by the b****y tyre fitters who always mark them

looks like we all think the same,I had my standard coupe wheels on for over 8 years,I never ever kerbed them ,my wife hit a bad pot hole and destroyed one wheel and tyre but gotta say it was not her fault...

Got my new 18" on , but , within 2 weeks I badlly scraped the edges of both rims on the passenger side ......AND did it....in my own driveway !!! ....

a van had apparantly came in our drive during the day and pushed over a row of edging kerbs round our lawn,I came in later that night ,I drove in past my wifes car as usual, put car in garage, only to find damage in the morning, never felt it, as we have a thick gravel drive but boy did I feel sick as a pig !! If I ever found out, who the f*ck that van driver was, I get done for murder.

So,as you say Taz,it ,REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, does your head in every time you look at the car...................the rest of the 2 wheels are perfect, but the poished rims of both Urban Racers is scraped to bits, and i can`t find any place up her that can just re do the rim edge.
They are shadow chrome so various different shades,if i get them done they will only do them the standard flat grey

so Jimbo be very very carefull,35`s on 18" wheels leave zero room for error

Lenso`s look nice by the way

was Paul S,now just paul...Member since Oct 2000,Coupe may be FATALLY injured - :(oh no it's not smile
