My cars got a k&n induction kit on it, are they any good for the coops or should i get a standard airbox and put a free flow filter in it. My turbo has gone on the car and not sure if its normal wear or the k&n has something to do with it.

Thanks Ash

a K&N wont cause any problems to the turbo but a decat pipe can do, also the K&N wont give you any more noticably power increase neither will any other filters but they will all make a lot more noise!

Somewhere here or on the old forum I am sure there was a 'shoot-out' on a RR with K&N and a few other options.

K&N gave a tad less down the rev range but a bit more at the top of the rev range. Some like the suction noise, I for one do, makes the DV slightly nicer without getting to 'barry-boy status.
