Evening,

I have a 97 20VT, gtech1 chip, prv and boost guage.

The strange thing that is happening is...when the prv is turned down to its very lowest (i.e might aswell not even be fitted) i am still hitting 20psi when accelerating. I've not been able to turn the boost up as i will presumably go over the recommended pressure and kill my engine.

Can anyone tell me why the pressure is so high with no other modifications?

When you say turning it down to its very lowest, are you screwing it inwards or outwards? So, the PRV is either as long as possible, or as short as possible?

I understand what Stu is saying. When i say its turned down i mean I am turning the screw in the direction of the - not towards the + therefore I should be turning the boost down arent I?

When the valve is turned to the lowest setting I am still hitting 20psi in 4th
