Just thinking about a live mapping by perfect touch and would like suggestions on things I should get/need before hand. Im currently at about 275bhp.

Was possibly thinking of a new vband/downpipe to replace the standard pipe. Would this affect the mapping if I was to add it after?

Also not sure if its got the uprated fuel pump and wiring mod so I may need that to, right?

Any thing I've missed?

Cheers
Mark

I'd say, if you're going to keep the Scorpion, get yourself a H&S 5-bolt Downpipe, if not, then maybe a 3" full inch system depending on your preference. Get all your mods done before the live mapping! I'd also get the Walbro and wiring mod, as I'd say you'd be over the 300BHP mark.

I would certainly recommend Perfect Touch (although you've probably already gathered that if you read my thread !). Claudio is the guy who runs the place, but Rob is the mapping guru . Their contact number is 01992 443900 and they can be found in Bingley Road, Hoddesdon, EN11 0NX.
Have a chat to them first ,tell them what you want and your mods and go from there. This is what i did.
Personally i would get a full de-cat blueflame exhaust as its brilliant and its also the cheapest.300squidlies for the lot andthen flog yours. Its only just more noisy than the stock but sounds great when opened up and gives a nice burble from the 5 pot.

Nah i still have it but its a "not so SIP" now as it has a bend on it! I will take the bend on in summer but i dont think the bend makes much difference tbh.

i've a bend in mine too, the induction route is only a little longer, although I guess it will disrupt the airflow. On my coupe at least, now that I've tightened all the clips and bunged up gaping holes <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> my coupe is anything but laggy!
