Has to be a GrahamL (GTEC) chip v1 or v2 depending on what fuel you use (99+ for 2, 95+ for 1).

as far as im aware theres only the sparco strut brace, which came standard with the later models.
AA is a good place to pick them up, very easy to fit yourself too.

Have a look in the guides section. Lots of useful info there

The orginal gtec raises boost from 1.0 to 1.2 bar. It also does away with the boost limiter in 1st and 2nd so feels MUCH quicker there.

The 16v strutbrace can be made to fit the 20vt, but is an absolute pain. Much better to get the proper 20v one to tighten the handling.

Interior wise I'd reckomend some alu dial surrounds to brighten / moderise the dash. Drop me a PM if you'd like a set

I'd like to add Eibach springs and drilled airbox (with std paper filter). The latter very cheap and effective!
Don't go for straight induction with oily filters, they mess with the airmassmeter and can cause lean mixture. (this especially applies to the Novitec chip which is very exact in mixture, GTEC is fat anyway)

Toni

If your car is fairly standard go for the GTEC1 chip, as the GTEC2 is only appropriate for tuned cars with FMIC and/or hybrid turbo really. It should give you about 20-25 bhp for less than £50 . PM GrahamL for more details .

You might want to think about brakes and suspension as well, as you shouldn't really do the power upgrades until you know the car can handle and stop accordingly. Mintex or Pagid pads up front are good, and don't forget some good brake fluid (DoT 5.1). Suspension mods are a matter of much discussion, depending upon what you are looking for. Have a look in the tuning section for plenty of opinions .

I'd recommend the Caps-Lock chip that disengages the caps on your keyboard. I'd suggest you edit your post and remove them asap

There are a couple of other braces which fit, but make sure it is marked as fitting a 20VT. I have a Momo one which I think only fits earlier 20VTs c. <98 and has to be fitted back to front!
