As the subject, im running a 16vt with a Evocars chip, decat, induction kit and all that jazz.
Just wondering whether my lumpy idle could be related to me using super unleaded or whether it'd prefer the regular variety

99Ron Tesco stuff or V power seem best rated.

Some use Ultimate but i find it overpriced and my coop never like it that much.

If you can get hold of bio-ethonal or race fuel then use it instead but racefuel aint cheap!

Give your car an italian tune up and then try clearing the ecu and see if it helps

Since my Gtec1 install I have to say the car does feel sharper on V-Power. I did wonder if it was a placebo effect at first but if I can't get to a Shell garage and stick £10 of 95RON in I do feel the difference.

I have ONLY used v-power since my rebuild and notice no stuttering or lumpy idle (in relation to my fuelling anyways).

Cannot recommend V Power enough. In my Coupe and Sedici Tipo it makes a big difference.

On normal the Tipo is a lumpy at low speed. On V Power it is extremely smooth also more brisk and returns alot better MPG

Coupe is a little brisker and returns better MPG while being a little smoother.

Imo worth the money also makes the car produce more BHP so cannot be bad

I have noticed mine gives far better mpg on tesco 99 ron than normal 95 or super 97 ron

No it is.. It showed that optimax did a very good job at cleaning the pistons. When the head was off my car you could see where the V-Power was doing it's thing.

Non Optimax piston
Optimax piston

I realise i have said optimax, but this is what the engine was run on before it went pop and optimax became v-power
