I have decided to get a coupe in the next few weeks..One that hasnt been in a accident..
I am stuck on colours and models though and need some advice.
Now the following may upset some people as it involves colours..
I like the L.E red
H2ypers yellow coupe
Jimbos grey coupe
and i love the sprint blue
I quite fancy a six speed but IMO think there slower through the gears.
I would also love an L.E but that rules out the sprint blue.
I want a low miles one poss 40k and will only use it in the summer as i plan to keep it for a while with the rest of my future classics selection.

Yellow aint available in plus/le. I would go for 5 speed as general opinion is its a stronger gearbox.

My sisters BF is looking to sell his LE. It's steel grey, 98'S' and has about 42k on the clock.

He's based around guildford and is really a minter. The only bad point was that the rear bumper has melted slightly due to a hole in a previous exhaust.

It drives really nicely and has had new belts, discs and pads about a year ago and the car has only done 5k since then.

Jimbos is very nice,but i love the red in the L.E.
But jimbos interior looks better as it contrasts the exterior..

And i get too attatched to cars and never want to sell them so i would like to be sure of the colour.

Go for grey, it's the best colour.

Em, I always thought grey wasn't a colour.

To be honest,the coupes look good in nearly all the colours.The only one that i dont like which does nothing for me is the porto blue(sorry KP)

I remember doing a cambelt on a yellow coupe..it had 6 speed box and a push button start

Porto blue is ace, just mine is always covered i about 1k worth of dirt

Ah, no never had the skirts, not from factory anyway, only Plus and LE's have the different shell's to accomodate genuine skirts.

The 6's arent that rare, nearly all 2000 models that arent plus's are 20vt6's

whats diff about the shells then as eper only showed me one shell iirc?

Well i have to say ive owned my ink black plus since last july and still adore its looks inside and out. Ive never seen another on the road either (mind you i live in deepest darkest zumzet!! God i need to get out more!!). It quite often looks real black from a distance which looks well nice. Having said this, i have thought that i might trade for a grey limited edition one day. I prefer the plus inside though.

Isn't there a Sprint Blue Plus? Or have I been dreaming?
