but not finished yet still gotto tidy up but its gone dark http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g45/cowboykarl/patsphotos006-3.jpg http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g45/cowboykarl/patsphotos007-2.jpg http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g45/cowboykarl/patsphotos008-4.jpg http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g45/cowboykarl/patsphotos009-4.jpg

i hope you never have to use your passenger airbag <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />

its gone

That looks like the start of a slippery road. Next it'll be an ICE install that means the back seats come out to be replaced with speakers the size of jodrell bank satelite dishes, followed by sticking bits of pink tafetta to every available internal surface and finished off with a shopping list down each door and some ridiculous tea tray stuck to the boot!

You have been warned! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

ive actually seen an ax gti with a 48" sub.was huge and looked daft at max power show.

i tried the 42"screen but i could not see were i was going lol

if you're not using the airbag I think you could use fibreglass to smooth everything <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Cowboy, how do you watch "Dutch wives special" on that screen and still manage to drive?

He drives while his mrs watches that.

OK, but he still has to "Change gears" whilst watching his Mrs watch Dutch wives <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Cowboy, you are a hero, and an example to us all <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Tell me this cowbow what make is the head unit and where did you get it from??
Its sweet loookin <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/love.gif" alt="" />

the make is ripspeed 80quid halfords, dutch wives lmao, were on dutch wives 6 now and we have not been out for a test drive yet,all i want now is that popcorn maker,i am sure my mate pinin was looking for that, ill have to call him see what hes come up with, brianmay i cant fibreglass as i still have full use of the clovebox but thanks for the idea anyway

Looks good that Karl. Bargain @ 80 squids anyway. I'll just squint at my JVC screen though <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

you can fibreglass it just where the airbag used to be..I't would look swett...send it to Portugal and I'll do it for you

thanks brian, nice offer.

You bloody would do if he polled up on your doorstep with his car and a tin of resin... that'd teach you for opening your mouth! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

or he could just put his car in a box and ship it to Portugal...it can't be that expensive <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> I'll fix you up with something like I did with this mercedes: http://pwp.netcabo.pt/0150868001/img/Mercedes1/DSC02389.jpg

Nice job <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

I think his beer taps are behind there now <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Neat install, but why oh why <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

its not for films as you might think its so you can read the sd card list the 3.5 is to small for that, but to be honest the more i look at it the more i dont like it,think i need a 5" one our a pop out one,o.k before i buy a pop out, anyone got one for sale our a link,i just want the screen

I think that if it was fitted into the dash more (a bit like Brians pic) it would look a lot better. One other thing though, can it be removed so that some tea leaf doesn't just smash the window & steal it, or is it like that all the time ?

- Nice job on that merc Brian, it looks it was meant to be there from the factory <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

just orderd a pop out one it looks cool but we will see, that one there dos clip of.and that merc is a top job nice one brian, wish you lived next door

personally i think its the worst way it could ever have been mounted. period

thanks <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> I'm planing on doing something similar to the merc on my coupe...when I get the tim€€€ I'll let you all know how it ends

I was planying, if everything went smooth, to do this on a "ship it to me and I'll ship it back done to you" basis if anyone would be interested

yellow coop you are right, i have ripped it out now but new screen on its way, think you might like to this one lol

sorry its just my opinion and i hate things that dont look semi-factory! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I just wondered where you would put your gloves Cowboy <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

<img src="/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
