Just swaping my little JVC head unti from the 'risma into the couppe and i got it all working nice (by nice i do not mean comming on and off with the ignition i meancoming on and playing music inderpendant of the ignition) and then i fitted it nice and tidy and... nothing....

i've tested the power cables coming into the head from the coupe and all i'm getting is 1.4V \:s this is a far cry from the normal 12V you'd expect from a car, have i managed to blow the fuse while installing it?

if i HAVE, then JOY ^.^ as i dont have to replace the head unit, if not it's going back where i got it! anyway... i'm new to the coupe and i dont as of yet have a workshop manual for it, hence i do not have a scooby doo where any of the fuses are, i would go searching but it's getting late.

so, where is the fuse that powers the sterio?

thank you
Solouko

Stereo fuse is in the main fuse box in the panel under the steering wheel, (get on your hands and knees and look up under the dash, just in front of the pedal box and you'll see a lever with "FUSES" written on it - push this and the fuse box swings down), can't remeber the number for that fuse, but it's a 10 amp one.

It's on the same circuit as the interior light and the main alarm feed/remote locking, so if these are still working then it's not the fuse that's the problem.
