Here we go again - if only the old forum hadn't died.

Indeed. Some folks have had fine service from Turin, others (and these outweigh the happy crowd) have a much worse service.

The first thing you'll notice is that they're very, very expensive and the second thing is that they're not that good. Jobs missed, jobs done badly, brand new K&N filters removed despite instructions to the contrary... I had an oil leak that I asked them to look at twice, eventually they got bored and said I should take it somewhere else. To a specialists perhaps.

Others have had far more serious problems including damage to cars and broken parts. My local garage proved much better at coop servicing than them and mine was the first coop they had seen

Hi there, Autosonic in Horsforth have been known to fit a few parts and upgrades, though they do specialise in bodywork. Steer clear of Turin Motors though. Not sure of any local specialists, I like many others get mine serviced at Motormech in Brum.

If you want to know about bodykits and how they look, stick a post in the style section and you'll have more pictures posted than you can shake a stick at

Autosonic don't exist thankgod!! I've been using Simon Green's in Horsforth, a bit pricey but seem to know what they are doing have seen a few coops there and they had a Ferrari in for a service when I picked mine up.. Good garages in Leeds a few and far between, I tried to book my coop in at Claytons in Stanningley but they don't service coops after a nightmare they had with one previously?? So when's Powerfiat Leeds opening up???

Autosonic do exist, they're just off the Old Ball roundabout. My car was in there in the summer, I'll check when I drive past them tonight...

I assume Tracy at Claytons was taking the piss! Just coz it took them 2 days to do my clutch and then the slave exploded just as they were bleeding it. Women

Phil whereabouts are you, I've seen scotts greens in Stanningley and Crossgates

Am in Stanningly, but the bradford side of the ring road.
Only been there a couple of weeks though.

Well Autosonic were open for business when I drove past them this morning. Why do you say they're cowboys? They did a decent job on my car and I'm planning to go back for another repair.

Back on topic, W reg Ink Black Plus on the ring road just past the A660 roundabout this morning. Looked a lot cleaner than mine does.

Off topic again, Roly what was the number of that wheel refurb place in Wetherby? I lost the number with the old forum and mine are looking very sorry for themselves

Now you're asking.

Will dig around and see if I've still got the card but his name was Marcus and he's round the back of Car Services in Wetherby. Google it and it should bring some joy.

Did a top job on my old one and I'll be using him again...

Autosonic definately no longer exist in Horsforth anyhow apparently they work from a farm near Bramley.. As for being cowboys, they bodged the fitting of a suspension kit which ended up costing me a fortune to put right, yes they knew how to spray cars but anything mechanical well...

It seems you're right about Autosonic, their numbers no longer work and someone else is in their old workshop, they just haven't taken down all the signs yet.

Back to coupe spotting, R plate scotts green in Leeds Light last night. As usual in the light the upside floor numbering system caught me out and I was a little surprised to see my car in a new spot and also that it now appeared to be green...

2 in a row!!!

Took my Moon Silver Coop to work on Thursday (yesterday) and passed a Portofino Blue and Sprint Blue.

I was heading into Leeds on Burley Rd near West Park.

Portofino blue was bemused lady who blushed when I flashed her.

Sprint Blue looked great - waved and flashed back. What a great way to start the day!

Saw a couple of murple turbos in Huddersfield centre on Saturday.

Roly that wheel refurb place in Wetherby no longer exists, I'm taking mine to MSS in Morley this week to get it all blinged up. I think a chrome mirror finish will be just lovely...

Hi Phil

Yes, fitted in in no time, although had a scary moment when I loosened the engine mount bolt as the engine moved forward and i could not get the bolt back in for a few mins!!!

I can tell the difference as well, the car does not weight up on one side when going into a corner now - excellent!!

I've seen a porto blue one on Denby Dale road a couple of times - the sprint blue I keep seeing is in Wrenthorpe - I live in Outwood, usually see it on on Bradford road, or the junction near the Londis shop in St John's

Spotted a Red R-Reg (think it was a turbo) parked up on a street off Wakefield Road in Ackworth when I was house-hunting yesterday. Jealous cos it looks like it works properly. And it turns out I can't afford the houses round there.

Broom Yellow westbound on the 62 just after the M1 junction at about 5.30pm yesterday - too fast to get any more detail...

Also Portofino Blue coming off Dick Lane onto the roundabout in Bradford a bit earlier (looked lovely), and a Grey/Silver exiting the A1 near Wentbridge a bit later (didn't see me).

Anyone on here?

Parked up near the Forde Greene!!! Were they insane, do they want their coop to be nicked/burned/randomly vandalised?
