I've just got my full motor sport cat BlueFlame exhaust and just thought I'd check that it's a DIY fitting job before I get started tomorrow? #What gets screwed in the hole by the V-clamp? #How do I get the V-clamp off? #I guess I don't use any exhaust paste when joining the V-clamp? #Do I use exhaust paste on ALL the other joins or can I get gaskets? P.S. For all of you who have the M-cat am I right in thinking that the de-cat systems have what look like a silencer (under the bubble wrap) and we have a small little lump thing ? I allso have a little dent on the back box , this shouldn't effect the exhaust at all?

Got mine today, not yet opened up though.
I think the screw hole near the v band is for the lambna sensor - you should see this screwed into your existing downpipe, under the bonnet to the left of the turbo unit. I think its 22mm and can take some persuading to remove.
The v band is undone from underneath, remove the undertray and then you can access it easily, a little force should see it free, dont lose the nuts and square washers. Once you put the turbo into the downpipe put the clamp back on and tighten up. Keep the nuts underneath not on top. Note the position of the v band before you remove it then replace it in the same position.
Im going to use a little paste myself just out of preference and there is no reason why you cant fit it yourself although it wont cost much to get the boys to do it - choice is yours.

I think Matty had that when he fitted his system. I believe he took it to the local exhaust fabricator bloke who fixed and welded on the exhaust tip for him.

Yup I had the same problem, although mine wasn't quite that low. I didn't like the Blueflame tailpipe anyway, the jubilee type clamp looked crap IMO and it was too low. So I went to our local Powerflow dealer who welded on a much better tailpipe that fits perfectly. Was only around £30. Might be your answer.

Did you use any gasket between the flanges Benny? Nope no gaskets or paste as i dont think its nesceary. As long as the flanges line up and the bolts are tight it should be alright, mine's okay. By the way Matty, i'm down powerflow 9am wednesday.

I put some paste on, but I'm paranoid about leaking exhausts. Good show Benny, remember to post some pics up.

Fitted mine Saturday done my oil cooler and pipes as well whilst stripped down took a couple of hours but did it on a ramp bit of a advantage I found mine was a little low but found there is very slight movement where the bolts are at the joints and had enough movement to (get it up ) my end pipe sticks out a little more than i would like was debating trimming end pipe a little to get tail pipe on a little more

Did you use Copper paste Matty? I used 'Gum Gum' exhaust putty.

WOW! Went down to powerflow(Welsh coast customs) this morning to get my tailpipie sorted, and sorted they did They cut it off at the box and turned it to fill the apetur in the bumper, when i was happy the kiddy taked it, then took the box off and welded it up propely and also welded the tailpipe on I must say it looks fantastic, if not the best i've seen in a long time. I'll take some pics tomorrow and by the way it only cost me £20 Keep watching

just bringing this back up.
I started to fit my full system today on my drive, until rain stop play.
did anyone have any issues with the mount at rear of downpipe lining up.
when i can get back out to finish fitting, thiniking of turning downpipe slightly in v band to lower down so i can bolt it to the rear mount fine, hoping this will cure it
