The sound, instinct, the period AC number plate and the fact that a minute later I saw the Bugatti heading in the same direction were all good clues

And no kit Cobra I've ever seen looks quite right for some reason

I don't know personally although I had the pleasure of being driven to my church wedding in one.

Had a tub of hair gel in!

Saw a Hummer H3x in Soho twice at the weekend. MUCH smaller than the H2 but still has the road presence! Similar size to a new Range Rover i guess. Still very cool though!

Merc SLR, near Knutsford. At flat chat they sound like a spitfire , except in my case it just plodded past me at 30mph, they sound pretty normal at that pace.

Put RS2000 graphics on one a bloke bought in about a year ago, just a standard mk1 escort 3 door, he made it look like an RS2000 and sold it for £11,000...

Just seen a Reliant Kitten - 4 wheel version of Robin. Lives somewhere near me as I've seen it about now and again, but this is the first time I've seen it moving. If you can call it moving that is, it was going so slow I felt obliged to overtake in my smart

Never really counted Gallardos as rare as I reckoned on seeing one most weeks, but saw my first Gallardo Spider on Saturday. Orange one in High Wycombe

I've always wanted one of them for a project car. I keep seeing one driving round my neck of the woods but it's in minging nick.

I'd have to make my Dark Blue metallic with gold wheels like the Yardies in Getaway if anyone's ever played that?

Edited to say
God it takes me ages to find anything on the search engine, I knew I'd seen a blinging SD1 on here.

Several old rarities today as the sun is out - a 1920s Lancia (a Dilambda perhaps according to my brother), a Jag XK120 roadster and an MG saloon (Magnet maybe - late 40s, early 50s)

Less pretty but still quite rare, 2 black BMW M6 in about 100 yards of each other, a black maserati 3200GT coupe and another rather crusty robin reliant in sprint blue

One of these or one of these. in an underground car park in Paris this afternoon (alongside common muck such as various Porsches, a brace of 3200GT's and a Gallardo). love love love

Looked absolutely stunning and the photo links don't do the car justice. Not exactly up on my vintage Maserati's so couldn't say what series or exact model but it was a Sebring.

Up yours Photobucket.

And I keep seeing an old classic citroen going between the Heighington roundabout and the A68 towards Darlo. I've seen the thing that many times on a morning I'm now convinced that the "nutter" (meant in the nicest possible way) is commuting in it shocked

Now I know absolutely naff all about 70 year old Citroen's but a bit of research points to a 1934 or 1935 Traction Avant 7 given the colour guide in this web site as the beige/black paint combination was only available in those two years. You need to follow the Traction Avant link from the main page.

Anyone else seen it as the thing isn't exactly hiding in a garage, it's commuting to Darlo ffs!

Have a look at this link and near the end from photo no 87 a 1924 Fiat 510S (only 414 built) is featured, some with a 1925 501C.

http://www.fiatqld.org.au/galleries/allora260107/index.htm

If you browse through the photos you will also see a 500C (Topolino) and a 600 Multipla plus a Ford Model T racer.

At the beginning is my daughter's 850 Coupe and 850 Spider (series 2)

Saw a Bugatti Veyron on the A49 near Oulton Park last Sunday afternoon. It was just plodding along between cars going the opposite way. Looked stunning though, what I briefly saw of it. Pictures really don't do it justice.
