I was looking to fit my existing boost gauge into a pillar pod but have found out it is smaller than the standard 52mm size so will not fit into the nomad pillar pods. So the question is can anyone suggest a decent boost gauge (either 52 or 60mm) with a white face. I thought this looks promising but any other suggestions?

I'm going to be looking for the same thing myself shortly There's a similar thread on here somewhere and the Blitz gauge got good feedback. Unless there's something better this is probably what I'll be going for

If you can stomach the 100 quid, get it Yeah I know Not cheap but you usually get what you pay for. Having said that, if there's a cheaper one of similar quality I'd be interested

Any decent gauge will start at say 40 quid so it isn't that much more. The only reason I didn't get one is that I didn't want that read all the way up to 2.0 bar.

I know £100+ is alittle more than I want to spend but I can sell my onld one to recoup some of the costs. demon tweaks have a racetech gauge for £40 Here but I think its looks crap and its goes up to 2.5 bar which is a bit pointless for me.

For the same price you could have a propper stepper motor electrical gauge with a choice of illumination colour and white or black face choice too. http://www.spatechnique.com/product_pages/analoguegauges.aspDemon tweeks have these listed in thier red motorsport catalogue.

Blitz are the nuts - but not cheap.
Just please dont get a TIM one - they really are cheap crap.
IMO it's worth spending a bit of money to get something that's quality and easy to read.

guage one i had,£50 and couldnt fault it and tbh you dont really need to spend any more.the defi guages are the nicest ones but at £140 your paying for the name and how it looks not its functionality so just save yourself a bit of money and get a cheapish one

Pinin - is that a Nomad Pillar Pod? Yep, single pillar pod. I was all set for the double, but the second pod is right in your line of sight when turning and I didn't like it.
 Coopless!

That wasn't the answer I'd hoped for Was thinking of getting the twin pod one but wondered whether it would be a problem. I'm going to be getting a Turbo Timer fitted (I know most people say you don't need one :)) and I'm thinking about the Blitz one as it has a built-in digital boost gauge. Don't know how good it is though

Not many on here running turbo timers really, the supposed reasons are: 1. You don't need one if you allow the car to "simmer" for a couple of minutes after a spirited drive 2. They can play hell with the immobiliser 3. Insurance issues, some insurers won't insure a car that can have it's engine running when the owner is not present. Saying that, I don't recall anyone who has one posting what they thought, so this could all be poppycock. Oooh I liked that word poppycock poppycock poppycock
