Well just another case of me showing off another finished loverly!

Sold to Mr IJK following the right off of bezzers old red t-reg.

He bought this loverly looking like This! & this

All nice and loverly, 75k three owners, all the keys, perfect history etc etc.

Then one day i did this to it taking all the blemishes out, fitting Plus kit etc etc.

Then it looked a little like this hmmmmm.

Ready for primer
Now chrono
Dent free coupe!!!


Then a few days sanding and re masking and we got this!
Cha Ching!
Minty Mint!


So some more pampering, new oil cooler and pipes, all calipers refurbed, new pagid grooved disks, full service, nice sproose up and plenty of little bits, add some farecla and here we are!

Mint! but not in the usual pikey crap shed kinda mint, proper loverly, blemish free and all as it should be!
Add gliptone here! and here and the trim is sorted!

Still in the oven!
Calipers refurbed and now red, and a full wheel flick over in a home made grey colour!
Must have plus grille
No more stark crap silver wheels!
Just as he comes the rain opens up, shame its more shiny in the dry!

Oh and im not going to tell you how cheap the car was, but no-one will find a better car for the money as that was!

Hope you enjoy it matey, look after it, put soooo much time and effort into it, way more than what we agreed but the results were rather rewarding! And your face when you collected it!

I can imagine my face when you showed me it. I view a slightly tired looking standard 20VT and after you’ve worked your magic I get one looking like that!
Still most definitely in love, it runs sweet as a nut and looks the business IMHO.
The paranoia of parking it at work with all the careless door wielding types has already reached biblical proportions though. I get in at some ridiculous hour to ensure I get a spot where I can view it out of the window.

Go visit Carl if you want a paint job. I doubt you'll get a better one

Well upto August with the odd one squeezed in here and there to be honest. Im just moving workshops too.

Carl, any idea on price mate.

am thinking complete rust removal, dent removal, respray, cleaning up inside and out inc engine bay and possibly a new front bumper

clearly just a rough approximate.

my car is still nice from a distance, but its a bit tatty up close with a slight bit of rust showing up on the arches. I just need to decide how much and if its worth spending it on a 1998 car with <just> over 100k on the clock.
