This is a tunned map for 16V 2.0 first stage @ 1 Bar
this will increase minimum 20 HP on your car, comming
the stage 2 map soon @ 1.5 bar, RPM 9000.

What turbo are you planning on using for 9000rpm?

Had everything balanced and forged for 9000rpm?

Mr, you can install a supercharge for the high RPM,
then u have a turbo for low and supercharge for high.
any how the defult turbo in the 16V can produce a 23 PSI
1.6 Bar, which will increase the power @ 25-30 HP in the custom map which i did.

Why do I have a feeling that it's meant to be the other way round, supercharge for low down the rev range, and turbo for higher revs...
Stock 16VT turbo will probably reach 1.6bar midrange but not at all efficiently!

Did you base your map on any of the widely available ones?
from a first check it's not similar to any of the ones I have... (looks rather mild)

As you cant control the turbo in the high RPMS i used the
supercharge custom handmade in my workshop to control it to run from 4500 to 8000 by changing the diameter of the circle wheel which connected to the belt, EX: like first gear and fifth, it will begin producing the high pressure air in high RPM. Regarding the PICS i will reduce but this is my trial website, very soon it will be transfered to
http://www.uaetuning.com, thats why i didnt care much,
and the best is that we are doing the electric turbo handmade never been like any where, it will start from he time u switch it on sp i need from 1000 to 3000 and it will give about 3 BAR but it needs another battery installed i you want to keep it running thats how i have from 1000 to 8000 Air pressure varies its true but i customized a map specially for my car as these equipment are installed and video is coming soon in my new web as i dont have much space in the current site.

You clearly have no clear idea of what you are saying. 3bar electric turbo, please there maybe a few new users on this forum but most are enthusiasts with more then just a passing knowledge on these subjects.

9000rpm BS, what on stock rods and valve springs total utter nonesense.

hi Mr. Hollow man,
first of all, welcome to the forum & i hope you will enjoy your time here.
This is the first time to know that there is a 16VT in the gulf, i thought they were all 20VT (what do you think james). anyway, seems that you have a serious project out there, good but you should tell us the complete specs of your car to sustain 9000rpm, supercharger & turbo at the same time. and where do you tuned your car & how? unichip or live mapping??

cheers

omran

I tune my car in my shop, i have a tuning shop. My car obtain 9000 RPM only by chip tuning, but i dont want to share this map in my website, coz if you dont install a supercharge for hight RPM it will be unuseful but never dangerous to damage anything, the 16v engine is designed to give 10000 RPM TESTED. but to give the power to reach this RPM on road, you need to support be fuel and boost air.
Regarding the tunning its only live mapping. I didnt install a unichip so i can control the whole car as you know unichip can only control Fuel And Ignition.

9000rpm with only chip tuning?? and its safe!? \:o
Mr. Begbie, where are you???

@ hollow_man, how about cooling?? i know that the temp is too high in UAE, so you should consider better cooling with 9000rpm & 1.5bar. again what specs do you have on your car? & Is it really your car or you just tuned it?

it is my car, true temperature is very high here correct believe or not, im having no problem with temp, still my car has the normal fan and rediator, i have no fan in the oil rediator or intercooler, i dont get you guys, if u have a good radiator and fan, so the engine water is clean, i dont think you will have a problem. 9000 RPM every body is shoked whats the big deal, the crank in the 16V can run mechanically till 1000 MAX the ECU limit is 7972 little less or high so all what i did is that increased the limit and the fueling installed a supercharge upgrade it to run in gigh RPM to support the fuel and thats it. If you have a problem in cooling you can add a fan which i will do soon, to the OIL radiator and intercooler as the water radiator, so i can survive in the summer herem the car had been tested in the winter so i dont know about summer i test my car live in road and get results thats why i cant say in summer what will be the cooling temp yet.

Do you have a pic of your supercharger + turbo installation? Also have you taken a measurement of the charge temperatures when on full boost at 7000-9000rpm. Please remember the standard Fiat sidemount intercooler is very small therefore it cannot cool such large volumes of boosted air! As for running at 9000rpm on a standard engine, hmmmm...

16V engines give 10000PRM TESTED:
as in running on their own devises when revved up there, or

as stick a giant black&decker on the flywheel and spin its balls out?

Could we please be a bit serious here?

Rich commented on all that before I don't think it will happen!
If you have proven record that a stock engine can do that I'd like to see it (and then again, I wont be persuaded ;\) )

My only comment to mr hollow_man is, enjoy your engine rebuild because it will cost you big time.

The flywheel doesnt like 9000rpm, the valve train doesnt like 9000rpm, the standard turbo doesnt like 6000rpm+. Yes the crank will take it, but this is because it is forged as std oh and your head bolts wont really take 9000rpm.

Good luck to you, but it's a very short time bomb your working on \:\)

Whilst I must admit to being sceptical about the claims of supercharging AND turbocharging AND 9,000 rpm, I would remind everyone of a very simple fact.

About five years ago, the Coupe community was well impressed by the 280+ bhp of the L&M chargecooled LE. If someone had popped up saying they had got over 400bhp, we would have laughed them off the forum.

However, there's one thing that this forum has always requested - proof.

The ball's in your court, uaetunning

"Confusing" you mean. \:D \:D \:D I have to be honest, to come on here and make bold claims, there must be some truth in it.

Nigel, no proof is needed, it will destroy itself very very quickly.

Have a read on what Guy Croft says about the standard 16v rods They will not take the abuse and Guy has been dealing with twin cam engines for 15 - 20 years, oh and maybe have a read on the flywheel

To be fair GC doesn't say anything about the 16VT rods, although I'm sure they're no better than the illustrated ones \:P
