Nyssa7 is a Spesso gasket dealer - so he would know. The standard gasket is pretty good though IMHO, multilayer metal etc..

Cheers -yeah, I thought the OE onese were pretty good. I was just interested in a future tunning option, to see if thinner gaskets were available to up the compresion ratio

Barbz was using a thinner gasket for some reason on his 2.4.

Hope it never happens, but if my engine went pop and I had the option to re-build, id probably go for lower boost, but higher compresion ratios to make it a bit more drivable....

Just wonderd if it was an option..

Spesso make a standard range 20vt head gasket but not a Spesso Racing one

We're using the stock head gasket on the kappa race car so should suffice for most people
