Anonymous Unregistered A	And it was just below full on the gauge. Last time i checked it was before i went to the last scottish meet. So probably done about 1000-1500 miles since then. Not bad eh? estimate probably about 150-200ml needed putting it to top it up!! $\:D$ Ross

Also anyone who is getting an engine rebuild done, get gapped down rings. Improves power and stops blow by, hence less oil usage. Ross

Just spoke to someone on ebay who's cooler pipes burst, he drove the car with the light on to a garage, then home (22 miles) then 27 miles each way to and from work the following day. Says the engine is mint???? Although yeh it has no oil on the dipstick the whole time as whatever i poured in came straight out! You tell me!

Take it, immediately for an oil change, let them remove the 30ml of sludge and good intentions, and have them replace it with the 4.5l or whatever of the good stuff. By good stuff, I mean oil, not gliptone!!!

Anonymous Unregistered A	My old engine used to use the normal 1 litre every 1000 miles or so. But I've now got the engine from Delly's wrecked Plus plumbed in and it fantastic for oil consumption, using only around 200ml for every 1000 miles.

Then on Monday morning I had to put more oil in it.. couldn't believe it I did do about 900 miles over the weekend though $\:D$ Ex 20VT - now something far more sensible'ish...
