Here's a link to the new road tax pricing policy, based upon emmisions output. So where are the different Coops going to come in at? 20VT / 16 etc.

Reading the link it seems that the tax vs emissions only applies to vehicles registered after 1/3/2001. Hopefully that makes coupes either exempt or subject to compulsory crushing by Peoples Commissar Gordon Browne?

All coupés will cost £180 per annum, with effect from 22nd March 2007.


Edit: okay, deliberate mistake, the Road Tax for all coupés will cost that! The value of coupés hasn't fallen that dramatically, despite the free listing day on fleabay

So the message is, if you want to pay less tax, buy an old car
