Is North Wales the home of the Scotts Green Coupe???

Passed three at the weekend, one on the A55 heading towards Chester on Sat morning and two on the A470 Llandudno link road later on the same day.

Was it the same car??? - or do all coupe's in N.Wales come in a lovely shade of dark Green???

A lot of them are, yes. I think the lush greenery is reflected in the cars, or something like that

I'm often home from Manchester to N.Wales as my folks live near Conwy, and its rare you see any other coupes on a weekend trip - let alone three the same colour in the same day, oh and there was also a dirty black 20VT parked on Conwy quay same weekend.

Gosh, that was a few weeks ago now, on your usual A55 tea time patrol.

Now I'm reminded though, I spotted a red one on the A55 heading Westbound coming into Colwyn Bay around 5pm last Friday. Or it could have been Thursday around 6pm?!

The 16th was the day my mum died, so I guess I wasn't really very clear-headed. But still, I don't patrol the Colwyn Bay end so much these days, as my wife drives herself to work. Might have been someone else??

Spotted a green coupe R reg 20VT at the VUE cinema in cheshire oaks last week, looked vrey nice with its body kit. R***JDE dont know if this should be in the north wales coupe spotting as I think that's in cheshire. My geography isn't the best.

Lucky day today - two this morning.

1st - in Abergele, Sprint Blue going towards Threeways Petrol Station. 8.25am

2nd - Bright red, travelling west on A550 from Queensferry. 8.55am.

Can't be sure cowboy - too many Scots Green around! But none look as distinctive as yours!! This one was a standard car I'm sure, but it was quite dark.

Gone a bit quiet on the coupe spotting in Anglesey (apart from Dave's in Lidl Llangefni - complete with new exhaust!) - haven't seen the late private number Scotts Green 20v non-turb around much either, or the Holland Arms early 20v red non-turb, or any of the red Holyhead cars.

And I spoke to soon, pulled up at the roundabout at the bottom of Ffriddoedd Road in Bangor (by Morrisons nee Safeway) and the silver coupe drove by. You're right - he doesn't wave ....

Tesco Bangor had Coupes in tonight again - the P plated early 20v red one & not far from it the murple 20v turbo was parked with a nice private plate (NJC***). Mine wasn't included as I was in the new Fiesta due to water pump "issues" with mine!

My colleague also saw one of the red one's in Holyhead on Sunday, as well as a 'plum' coloured one!

Nope, not guilty if it was in the last few days. I've been in Swindon since Monday till last night, when I went straight home to my pad in the South area of Rhyl (the nicer part of town )

Busy weekend for spots...

On my way home on Friday afternoon around 4ish saw an inky black one turning into Tesco's at Llandudno Junction. It probably didn't see me as I was 5 or so cars behind it.

Then Saturday on the Abergele Straights by Rhuddlan roundabout saw another Broom, got a flash
Then saw a Sprinter in Colwyn bay when I got to my destination...

Then, Sunday, (second hand spot) I had a text off my mate saying she'd seen a convoy of Coupé's coming into Rhyl over the blue bridge: Green with spoiler, a sprinter and a porto. Cowboy et al from the West siiiiiiiiiiide?!
She told me to stay indoors as their's were sooooooooo shiny I'd be put to deepest darkest shame....

Last night saw a Red one in St Asaph (I think that's where I was, somewhere between Rhyl and St Asaph anyhoo) got a flash, then saw another red one this morning on the A55 by Llanddulas. Same one perhaps?

It's a fair cop MM!! I was on the way back to the wild West from All Italia following yet more open wallet surgery (timing belt change) - I'll be honest I was a bit lost meself as I don't know that part of the North that well - still it was a nice drive & I knew that if I headed for St Asaph I would pick up the A55 Westbound eventually! You were both looking very good btw - yellow really suits you! Immaculately clean as well!

But, not guilty for the one near Ruthin this morning - mine's in Caernarfon today!

I know St Asaph quite well, went to school there, so I should know where I'm going - it's just I don't quite remember what part of the journey I was at when I saw you!! I was on my way to Thai boxing with the girls so I may have looked a little menacing as we'd have been psyching ourself up!!
