No I'm not looking to down grade, but maybe upgrade the Ka...

Had a look on Autotrader and going by prices I could basically swap the wee Ka for a nice tidy N/A for Kim smile

Touchwood I know the 20vt inside out now, but is there anything different on the N/A? (no sarky answers such as missing a turbo please, lol )

ie when should the belts be done?
any obvious engine faults to look for?

Also, whats the insurance group for a N/A and whats the MPG?

Belts initially get done at 72k just like the 20vt. Thereafter it seems sensible to do them at 36k/3yrs to be safe.

Not a massive difference between the two engines from the outside.

The engine aside it is the same set-up underneath by and large. Brakes aren't the squeally Brembos at the front so one less thing to worry about.

Fuel economy is the winner though and you should expect mid 30's in normal driving/runs.

Fergie if you have a coupe owners book there is a fuel consumption chart on page 249, and the insurance is group 15. wink

Why are you in the dog house Stan?

You're right matt, group 17, 20vt is a 19 and the plus is 20.
Well corrected. wink
