LE skirts and lips. A good bodyshop polish, strut brace and maybe a better dump valve such as a forge. Then some good disks and pads all round and maybe change the shocks for bilsteins.

Job done

Build a sandcastle...oh wait.

Buy a tank of petrol, go for a nice long drive, maybe stop and take a few photos of the car, and then when I got home I'd have forgotten all about it and put the rest in the bank for when it breaks down \:\)

if you were to leave the body alone, how much power gain could you get for £1000 from standard?

Stainless cat-back exhaust like a scorpion, Peco etc, always cropping up on the forum for about £150.

Pace SMIC £150 (usually)

whatever intake took my fancy on that day £70

G-Tech 1 £30

3G discs £140

Decent pads for about £80

Wishbones £80

Decent boost gauge with Nomad pod - £100

PRV - £20

Fresh Sachs dampers for the front and rear - £100ish?

Second hand Eibach springs - £80

Takes you to a bag 'o' sand.

If the brakes on the coop were good tho, and the suspension was quite fresh, I'd spend that money on a set of LE/Zender lips and colour code the bumpers. \:\)

pinin, when you say intake, do you mean air intake scoop for the bonnet, or do you mean induction kit?

Cwees! you can't come on here, I call somebody else Cwees on this forum, you'll cause confusion! so I'll start again..

Toast! I mean induction, but you know that you silly boy. In fact no, you're right, I mean a mk1 impreza turbo scoop, but I wouldn't get the bumper cut, I'd just colour the inside of the scoop black with permanent marker. That'll show 'em.

yeah, let em think it's a real scoop, when all it really does is fudge up the sweet sweet aerodynamic curves of the sensual coopster.

Anyhoo! who else do you call Cwees on here?

I AM the original CWEEES and don't you forget it

(getting silly now, *chris_2OVT gets slapped on the wrist and is told to stop it* sorry)

None ;\) .

Oh, and for a grand, get the brakes and suspension sorted out before you start worrying about engine tuning, as these will make a far bigger difference to your enjoyment of the car than a few extra horses under the bonnet. Suggest:

3G discs - say £200
Pagid/Textar pads - £150
Bilsteins - £400
Strut Brace - £75-100
Polybushes - £150

OK, you might have to fit most of it yourself, but you won't be disapointed \:D !

Phil

For normal driving I wouldn't go for the Bilsteins, get the brakes done, def get the strut brace and do the bushes. The car will feel a hundred times better then.

Then get a bloody good service, boost gauge, chip and prv.

The car will be transformed IMO \:\)

Oh - I'd suggest getting a Perm done for £30. This is more a styling mod than a performance one tho.

Illustrative purposes only.

Err thats off topic \:P \:P

Anyway, a perm is not right for the coop, the ceiling is way too low, unless you are a midget, in which case perm away ;\)

i'd buy a set of 15" alloys from motorworld for £300
put an e-tech alloy spoiler on the back £120
get some blue LED washer jets £free from max power
lots of fake "manufacturer" stickers down the side of the doors £20
led skull gear knob £10
big carbon effect sun strip £free from redline
electric supercharger (computer fan jammed in the air duct) £50
Dump valve effect speaker under the bonnet £30
fast and furious Green neons under the car £200

should be a mint looking coop
