I'd like to get a live map done on my car soon, as my car is slightly tweeked. I'm running a evo FMIC and a hybrid turbo. Obviously before doing this, i wanted to get my car in a stable setup, so I've done the follwing:

Service, including spark plugs, and oil change.
Air filter is an Apexi and less than six months old
recently changed thermostat
Recently changed Lambda sensor

As my car is aproaching 100K, I was wondering if it would be worth getting the injectors cleaned, bearing in mind it has been run on nothing but optimax since I baught it at 65K. what do you think?
Also any other consumables that I've missed that I should change before getting it mapped?
Cheers

Fuel filter?!

Also I'd check for any oil leaks as it's not good to go on the rollers with a leak!! wink

You might want to put in colder-than-usual spark plugs (depending on what you're running now) for the day

You probably want to make sure the tyres are in decent shape and at the correct pressure - particularly if you want to compare later results with this run.

Don't think you'll notice any improvement on cleaning the injectors - uprated FPR, while not necessary, might prove beneficial.

make sure your engine is ok - compression test or leakdown test.

Make sure everything works 100%.

Fuel filter was done less than a year ago so should be OK. Had a compresion test done fairly renctly too.

So is the general opinion that its not worth having the injectors cleaned if they have been run on optimax?
Cheers

I would get them cleaned anyway after 80k miles as a matter of course as they usually require cleaning at that point.
