The dv should hang from the charge pipe which is aside the head to the right as you look at it. The dv will sit either by the side or lower than the battery and tray.

On top of the dv is a hard pipe that the vacuum hose attaches to. This hose is sited along side and disappears round the back of the engine.

There should be a black nut/screw in the back of the dv which you can adjust in and out - this will effect the idling/stalling depending on how far in/out it is adjusted - trial and error with setting that up.

The air intake pipe should have a bung in it where the other pipe for the standard recirc dv has been removed and no longer required.

Hi mate, this is an easy mod even for a complete novice - I know because I did mine myself.

Im assuming you have a 20vt? Im assuming you have the turborevs dv with the adaptor already fitted?

1: Shopping list:-
25mm pipe approx 12cm long.
25mm bung.
3 x jubilee clips to fit the above.

All available online (search lma etc...) or your local
'boy racer' store will stock them.

2: Attach the dv to one end of the 25mm, 12cm pipe and
jubilee it nice and tight. (The reason for
pipe being 12cm long is that it will allow
the dv to hang below the battery tray and
not foul it).

3: Follow the air intake pipe from the airbox (or
cone if fitted) back to the turbo. This pipe is
wide, black and ribbed ;\) As you get toward the
turbo end there will be a short pipe that held
the original recirc valve, this is where the bung
is inserted and jubileed good and tight.

4: The 12cm pipe with dv attached can now be
attached to the underside of the charge pipe
(where the original valve hung from). This is the
wide hard pipe attached to the head. Again jubilee nice
and tight.
Note that as the other hole has been bunged, the new
dv is only attached to the car via the 12cm pipe, it
should be hanging by the 12cm pipe and sit just below
the battery tray and just above the bung.

5: There are 2 thin pipes which run alongside
the engine more or less parallel with the new dv
position. As you look at it the pipe on the right
needs to be attached to the top of the dv.

Fitting complete - the screw on the back will need to be adjusted in and out until you find the correct position for the car. If you still dont have this screw try asking turborevs if they can get a replacement. Mine is screwed roughly 1cm out.

This is how I fitted mine and its been all good.

Not a hard job mate.
