I went up North at the wknd and whizzed through a whole stretch of average speed check cameras on the A14. Does anyone know if they're activated yet? Looked to me like they were covered up?

I went to Ipswich a couple of weekends and know which cameras you are on about. When we went past them they had black bags over them, so definately weren't working! I reckon you will have got away with it!

Thank god for that! Needless to say I was going too fast to see if they were black bags or just a new camera design!

Hi...as you can see from my info I live in Huntingdon...

the A14 is a stones throw away from me and you will be glad to know that you got away with it!! They are not due to be switched on until the 1st/2nd of May in 2 phases...to catch all the May bank holiday travellers!

Obiviously for saftey reasons of course...i mean...the only time i manage to average more than 60mph on the road is at 5am in the morning!!
