Driving past silverstone (A43) this afternoon and spotted an F40, 360 (with white stripe so presume its a challenge/stradale) and what look like a 911 on the other sides slip road.

I was slightly gutted that I didn't get the chance to see the F40 closer, then all of a sudden what appears in my rear mirror..... an Enzo!

Followed it from silverstone, past northampton then it turned towards kettering. It sounded mental, so raw. Number plate was 'P4UL 8'. Lucky b*stard. I wasn't in the coupe so didn't get a chance to open up a can of wuppass.

My dad is on his way to a trackday today in an F40! GRRRRRRRRR.

Pics to follow tomorrow hopefully.

Spotted a very shiney Black Alfa SZ convertible heading south on the A3 yesterday! GIVE!

see my 'f40 ride thread' for various rare cars.

First De Lorean I've ever seen on the road heading west on the A14 near Huntingdon on Saturday morning and a Noble going south on the A1 in the evening.

Very rare last of the RX7's with full bodykit and looked gorgeous. Think last year of production, only 7 were sold, so rare!! Oh, and quite fast too!!

Andy.

Twice last week, DeLorean spotted on my way to work & on the way home.
Saturday in Banbury i saw a nice Renault Alpine

A Bugatti Veyron Black one

On the same stretch of road I followed a Carrera GT a few months ago

Am I the 1st to spot one on the open road?

No. Check my post on page 8 of this thread!

I wanted to turn around and follow it, but was very late for work

saw an XJ220 today on the A40 coming out of London

2 Red Bull f1 cars opposite my work today.
The company opposite do the graphics for all sorts of racing cars.
Also seen a couple of GP Masters cars there before.

If you want to see some rare cars... try Pall Mall on Sunday from 11am... GUMBALL 3000!!!

Cars assemble for viewing from 11am, race underway at 4pm!
There's going to be an F1 car there at the start too for the first few miles.

Followed a Veyron through Bishops Stortford on Friday afternoon.

Caught a glimpse of it at first but couldn't be sure. The people by the side of the road confimed it, to a man, and indeed, woman, they all watched it glide by.

Got up behind it, was on foreign plates. Turned off towards the A10 and I went straight on.

Lovely, come on you bloody lottery.....

Means nothing to me but we saw a yellow RHD lamborghini Islero S on the A3.. apparently a unique beast in bright banana guise Hopefully it'll be at Auto-Italia show at Brooklands

Also an LHD Aston DB7 volante in yellow being driven by an old boy and his missus on the M3...we reckon he cruises down to St Tropez every summer in it

Also, less yellow, an Aston vanquish and a Maserati quattroporte

Maserati Quattroporte Sport S seen today - on my drive! Its mine for two whole days, already been up to Rockingham in it today just to wind up my mates in the Alfa series, only stayed long enough to watch the Pick Up trucks

Can't afford to waste valuable time that could be better spent driving it before I have to give it back tomorrow afternoon

Lots of flash cars today at the gumball rally 3000 start!

Saw a yellow 'grale too... a real day for yellow beauties as spotted 2 coops too

I was behind a silver F430 yesterday. I saw it coming down the A27 and moved over for him, then pulled out behind him and followed for a few miles. My misses couldn't belive it when I said we could have one plus the change to spend on fuel for a year if we sold the house, in fact i'm sure she was thinking about it as she didn't talk to me for about an hour after.

I'm sure he's posting something along the lines of "A beautiful red Coupé pulled over and let me past him on the A27 yesterday. I didn't put my foot down because I wanted to spend as long as possible watching it in my rear view mirror." on a Ferrari forum.

Bristol car show had F430's as it was Ferrari's 60th.
Zonda are rare. My first at Bristol. And Fiat Dino cabriolets.

Andy.

Those of you on Tiscali will have already seen this gallery of some of the Gumballers

Nice NSX parked next to me in tesco near Wyboston. Then spotted a Delorean and then a Countach

Spotted a Black Porsche Carrera GT and a Porsche GT3 RS in convoy headed towards Luton Airport yesterday.

John

OK, these are so rare that there wasn't one at Brooklands!

I went to the GT championship at Silverstone on sunday and amongst the race cars there was also some car clubs in the brooklands paddock.
