Hmmm. I notice my tyres are 205/45. Does it matter?

Compared to 50 profile yes, but why would it be any more out than with 225/45?

Because the profile figure is not a static figure, but a percentage of the tyre width.

So if you have a 205/50 r16 tyre, and a 225/45 r16 tyre next to each other you'll find the profile height will be the same.

Running 205/45 r16 tyres, will mean your speedo will over read by 3.4%. When you're travelling at 60mph, your speedo will read 58 mph.

Will the 15" wheels from the other coupés fit a 20vt with 10mm spacers?

I'm pretty sure you'll need 16's to clear the brakes.

even if they clear the calipers I think you would need a 20mm spacer at least
