Right, eibach, bilsteins and new topmounts being fitted by Iceberg next Tuesday laugh Wishbones etc all done at Xmas, so I'm thinking some new dics and pads would top it all off nicely

I'm currently running LE drilled dics and standard pads - they squeal and braking performance is pretty poor, hence I think an upgrade is in order laugh

With two great offers on at the moment, I dont know which to go for - do the Red dots justify the extra or should I go for the 3G's and spend a bit more on the pads??

I've just ordering 9 groove DBA disc with Pagid RS4-2-2 front pads and Textar rear pads as part of the Pagid GB's and have 10 groove 3G rears. Total cost about £390.

Thats should really sort our my braking as all the parts are recommeded by others here.

cheers
mark

I've just ordered 3G 20 groove front and 10 groove rears with yellow pads to improve brake fade when on track days out, spoke to the supplier direct who were very helpfull offering many discounts.
All in with free delivery is working out at £352.00 laugh
These are for my VIS, for my 20vt it would be about another £50 on top.

I have 10G all round and Roger at Powerfiat fitted Mintex fast road pads. They do squeal a bit, even with ss shims, but breaking so much better. Reverted to silent but useless Fiat pads and now gone back to the Mintex pads laugh

Now got red dot 20 groove and their fast road pads - miles better than my previous LE disc/mintex (think - fitted by motormech to get through the MOT at Xmas) combo

I use 3G 10 slanted/dimpled disc's with Carbotech pads front, Brembo Max and Tarox pads at the rear.
Quite a few trackdays now, must be the best brakes I've ever had.. smile

Looking to change my front discs and pads too. 3G, Red dot 20 groove and Brembo sport discs are all similarly priced. Has anyone used the Brembo Sport discs and what do you think?

Were Brembo Sports not fitted to the LE's?
