Well, i'm all set to do the Student Gumball rally this year in my trusty coop, which involves me plastering it in a variety of stickers/decals etc. I'm all up for this, but a little worried about how my paint will cope when it comes to take them all off? Has anyone had any experience of stickering a car up? And if so, did it do any damage to the paint??
I'm also looking for any recommedations of companies who produce these vinyls? There are dozens of companies listed on t'internet so any advice would be welcome!
Thanks,
Nick

Your ok as long as your paint is ok.
Any slapstick touch ups and they will certainly show afterwards.
Ask Dean on here, he's a sign man.

I recently removed all the company logo's off of our old van, they must have been on for a good ten years or so.
It was really noticeable at first, but after a T-cut and polish you'd never know so I would imagine you'll be fine.

as carlt says, shoddy paint (or shoddy topcoat/laquer) will gve you fade. i had decals on my motor for about 9 months and it took alot of work with a mop to get the outlines to vanish. sure it will be fine for a week or two mate

All of the above... Depends on your paint, we've had vinyl take the paint off, not little bits, great big lumps of paint showing a nice shiny bit underneath where its not been prepped right.
If its all alright, you should be fine... Tell the fitter to use a bit of water to fit them, the adhesive takes longer to cure that way.
