A friend of mine drives his Coupe 16VT skilfully and gracefully with a EBV from an Audi .. he reckons it works better than the Pierburg EBV.

Has anyone else tried? I'm willing to once I get the spare number from him.

no reason why not Per, the main thing is that it's the correct volt / amp combo ( but I guess if it works on his, it may be ok on yours ).

Basically it's still a bleed valve ( just may be more responsive )

Anything works better than the bosch ebv \:\)

I use a GM one.

Make sure the ebc coil resistance is identical to the bosh one (23ohm).

I use a Perin one on my 20VT - seem to control things better than the stock one did \:\)
