Anyone got any pics of stuck on numberplates, numberplates side mounted or mounted somewhere different to standard.

I'd like to cut some more out my front bumper to get better airflow to my FMIC. At the moment my preferred choices are
1. fit it to the passenger sunvisor (and keep it down all the time)
2. stick one on the cad splitter I have (maybe cover the bar on the splitter with carbonfibre
3. stuck on to one side of the intercooler but along the std lines

thoughts/pics anyone?

Cheers
John

I remember someone on the old forum mounting theirs to the side, in Alfa style. Didn't do it for me. Looked weird off centre. Remember somone also having a sticky-back vinyl plate placed on the bonnet (de-badged?) old-school jag style.

To be honest I think a reduced-height number plate in the standard position looks best.

I've chopped about a cm off round all of the edges and left it in the normal place.
It doesn't block the vents at all now and looks 10x better
No dealer details etc \:\)

I like the idea of mounting it off-centre like an Alfa 156.

Here you go.
Not too good really with the blurred numbers.

There you go..

That's small! I don't think I'd get away with the height. Looks smart though

True.. I do have a bigger, legal-ish plate now: http://www.orle.se/gallery/d/1038-1/IMG_0402.jpg

It turned expensive with all the fines.. \:\)
